Opened 1888, closed 1969, burned in 1970. In 1972 a new school opened on Radcliffe Street opposite the St. Mark Church. -

It had a classroom on each floor. A second one-room school was built adjacent. The donor, Dora Colville, taught there between 1938-1952. The school has been demolished. Students from Tullytown attended Pennsbury School District. -
Postcard: "Bath St. School, Bristol, PA."
Erected in 1881. This was the fourth public school opened in Bristol. Between 1881 and 1894, the upper floor was used as high school classroom. When a new school was opened in 1894 on Wood Street, high school classes moved there. Warren Snyder school opened on Buckley Street in 1956. This school closed and became a warehouse for Dries Furniture Store at Mill and Pond Streets. A fire destroyed the building in 1973 and it was torn down. Three duplex houses occupy the site as of 2002. Photo is pre-1910 as the railroad is not yet visible beyond the school. -

This was built in 1874 as a one-room school house built for the Friends (Quaker), and was sold to the Bristol Cultural and Historical Foundation, Inc. in 1991. The artist Michele Pavone is the daughter of Joseph Pavone, a founder of B.C.H.F. -

Washington Street School occupied this building from January 6, 1879 and closed December 22, 1955. In 1956, St. Ann Church purchased the building. In 1978, it became an annex for St. Ann School on Logan Street. -

Between 1960 and 1971, when their new school opened, St. Mark students attended St. Ephrem School, Bensalem Township. The former school burned and was removed. Bristol Fire Co. No. 2 battled the blaze. The stone cross on the front roof was placed at the entrance of the new school property. Cross was moved to the school on the riverside in 2012.
